This four-piece coffee set draws inspiration from the remarkable architecture of Louvre Abu Dhabi, as well as the masterpieces housed within.
The four Arabic coffee cups represent traditional Emirati hospitality where, at every Emirati home, guests are always welcomed with coffee and local dates. Each pattern of these cups mimics those of the patterns visible on the 18th century Syrian fountain at Louvre Abu Dhabi. Their colours pay homage to the beautiful earthy tones on the fountain.
The four cups are presented in a deep blue vegan leather box. The shape and colour of this box represents the open plaza outside the gallery, where the Arabian Gulf meets the geometrical architecture of the dome.
